Yes, it needs lubricating regularly. A little more than this room at the Saatchi Gallery does. It's filled with engine oil and is apparently art. Oh, well. We'll stick to watches.

 

All mechanical watches need regular servicing and an essential part of that service is the lubrication of the main moving elements. We use Moebius Oil and Grease when we service a watch. The oil is used for the wheels and cogs and the grease is applied to the setting lever and graphite grease is used on the main spring.
