Engraving

We are able to undertake engraving to most items that are purchased from Robert Openshaw Fine Jewellery, however we do not engrave items that have been purchased elsewhere.

Glass & Tankard Engraving
Our default understanding is that engraving goes on the front of a tankard, unless it’s decorated, then it goes on the back. The front is when the handle is on the right hand side when the tankard is facing you. Text is usually centred both horizontally and vertically. You can tell us exactly what you want in. An example is ‘on the front for a left handed person’. If you want something different from this, contact us and we’ll be happy to talk about it.

Ring Engraving
We are able to engrave the inside of rings, but only when manufactured from new as unfortunately we do not have the necessary local specialisms to undertake this after the event. This work is undertaken by our ring manufacturer in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter.

Returning Engraved Items
All items engraved by Robert Openshaw Fine Jewellery are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
